Genesis MFG provides CNC milling services in the UAE from our ISO 9001 and API Spec Q1-certified machine shop in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. Our 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling centres produce accurate, repeatable parts in metals and engineering plastics, from single prototypes to full production runs.
What Is CNC Milling?
CNC milling is a machining process in which a computer-controlled rotating cutter removes material from a fixed workpiece. The cutter moves along several axes to create flat faces, pockets, slots, holes, threads, and complex 3D surfaces. Because the toolpath is programmed, every part in a batch matches the drawing.

3-Axis vs 5-Axis CNC Milling
3-axis milling moves the cutter in X, Y, and Z. It is fast and cost-effective for flat parts, plates, brackets, and parts with features mostly on one or two faces.
5-axis CNC machining adds two rotary axes, so the cutter reaches the part from almost any angle in a single set-up. This suits complex geometry, deep cavities, angled holes, and contoured surfaces such as impellers, valve bodies, and manifolds. Fewer set-ups also mean better accuracy between features and shorter lead times.

Frequently Asked Questions
What file formats do you accept for CNC milling?
[STEP, IGES, Parasolid, DWG, DXF, and PDF drawings.] A 3D model plus a 2D drawing with tolerances gives the fastest, most accurate quote.
What tolerances can your CNC milling achieve?
Standard tolerance is [±0.05 mm]. Tighter tolerances down to [±0.01 mm] are possible on critical features.
When should I choose 5-axis CNC machining?
Choose 5-axis machining for complex parts with features on many faces, angled holes, or contoured surfaces. It reduces set-ups and improves accuracy.
How long does CNC milling take?
Simple parts can ship in [X] working days. Complex or high-volume orders typically take [Y] working days.
Do you offer CNC milling services in Dubai?
Yes. Our facility is in Sharjah, and we deliver milled parts to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across the UAE.
Upload your CAD file or drawing with the material and quantity. We will reply with a price and lead time [within 24–48 hours].
